St. Paul's Food Pantry Needs Our Help!

Last week at Saint Paul’s Newport, a water line broke flooding several areas of the Parish Hall. The area most affected Is the area where items are stored for the Food Pantry, and most items were destroyed.

The Pantry is in great need of hygiene items like soap, toothpaste. shampoo, diapers, etc. These are things that cannot be purchased with Food Stamps.

Please bring your donations of hygiene items to Trinity by Sunday, July 28.

"Episcopal 201" Prepares for Confirmation/Reception

All those considering being confirmed or received into the Episcopal Church are invited to attend Episcopal 201, a four-week examination of Christian faith and practice. Guided by Trinity’s clergy, participants will engage in a deep study of Christian doctrine concerning God, Jesus Christ, the Trinity, and the nature of faith. While these classes are intended as catechetical preparation for those preparing for confirmation and reception, they are also open to anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the Christian faith.

Episcopal 201 will be held immediately following our regular 10 AM service on May 5, May 19, May 26, and June 2. Contact the Rev. Justin Gabbard for more information.

Our Bishop Provisional, the Rt. Rev. Mark Van Koevering will perform confirmations and receptions when he visits Trinity Church for the celebration of Trinity Sunday on June 16, 2019.

Lincoln Grant Scholar House - Workshop Meals

As part of our continuing partnership with LGSH, Trinity Outreach has chosen dates in which we will be responsible for providing a meal in advance of the sewing workshop series taught by Trinity parishioners. We are looking for volunteers to prepare and serve food on the evenings of May 8 & 15 and June 5 & 19. The meal is served at Lincoln Grant from 5:30-6:30 and all expenses will be reimbursed by Outreach.

If you are interested and able to help with this, or have any questions, please contact Marsha Dewitt or Greg Gemeinhardt.
