In celebration of our 175th anniversary, we are hosting a special evening featuring Katharine Jefferts Schori at Trinity on November 4 from 6 - 8:30pm. Join us for this rare opportunity to hear from and meet this trailblazer and world spiritual leader. Katharine will speak about the role of faith in the civic arena. Dinner by the bite and the chance to meet her will follow.
Katharine served as the presiding bishop of The Episcopal Church and was the Anglican Communion's first woman to be elected as a primate.
Tickets are $20 and can be ordered online at eventbrite.com or you can purchase tickets after the 8am and 10am services. Tickets must be purchased in advance by November 1. This is a public event and we are inviting the community and region to come. Invite your friends, family and networks to this once in a lifetime experience.
Interested in providing education, for all ages?
Interested in supporting families in our local community?
Interested in how we might further utilize the time, talent, and treasure of Trinity?
Then Parent Cafes may be your opportunity. Parent Cafés engage parents in meaningful conversations about what matters most – their family and how to strengthen that family by building protective factors. Through our partnership and participation in the Northern Kentucky Strengthening Families initiative, there is now an opportunity to have interested individuals trained to serve as coordinators for Parent Cafés. The training is being offered (for free) by 4C for Children and will be held on October 13-14, with RSVP needed by October 6.
Please see the October Chimes or contact Marsha Dewitt or Greg Gemeinhardt for more information.
