Farewell Joe and Gail!
More than 350 people packed into the sanctuary, the hallways and the May room to bid Joe and Gail a fond farewell after more than 20 years. The service was presided by Bishop Sauls and was mostly upbeat with a few tears. They were presented with an official proclimation from the Vestry recognizing their dedication and serivce, a gift from the church members as a whole and a scrap book the included memories from the last 20 years.
But then the party was on. The celebration was a wonderful opportunity to thank Joe and Gail, remember old times and get an idea of what they have planned for life after Trinity. After a few hours, Joe and Gail were serenaded out to a custom version of"Thanks for the memories" and then a dixieland "When the saints go marching in"
