Update from Nicolette on the Transition

Nicolette has just posted an update on the Transition in the section of the site setup for Transition news.  For all those interested in finding out "what's going on with Trinity finding it's new permanent rector", check it out.

Next meeting of Books and Beliefs

Books and Beliefs will meet May 26th at 11 AM at Gay Smith’s home.  Please RSVP to Gay, 331 1565, as lunch will be served following the discussion.

Bob Wallace will lead a discussion of Palestinian Walks by Raja Shehadeh, a Palestinian lawyer and writer who lives in Ramallah. A reviewer says “Toward any proper understanding of history there are many small paths. This constantly surprising book modestly describes walking alone certain paths which have touched the lived  lives of two millennia.”

Books and Beliefs welcomes  visitors and new members. In June we will meet to choose our reading for 2010 – 2011 and the list will be on the web-site.
