As part of our ministry to support those in need in our local community, the Outreach Commission has maintained for the past couple of years a supply of food bags containing non-perishable goods in the church office. The bags are available to provide to anyone who is in need of food, whether they are encoutered on the streets or walking through Trinity's doors. In order to provide easier access for parishioners to distribute the food bags during the week or on Sunday, a bread box has been placed on the coat rack outside the kitchen and will be regularly checked to make sure it is supplied.
This is a ministry of Trinity Church and any parishioner is welcome to grab some food bags to supply to anyone they encounter who is in need. This is a simple gesture that addresses a very basic need and is typically warmly received. Please feel free to utilize this in service to those within and directly outside our church walls.
