The deadline for Trinity Vestry and Diocesan Convention Deputy Elections has been extended through Saturday 11/3/18. Our parish and our Diocese are moving into significant times of spiritual growth; the Holy Spirit calls on your love and skills (whatever they may be!) to guide us now as members of the Trinity Vestry team and as members of the Diocese of Lexington Convention Deputation.
You can learn more here about serving on Vestry or serving as a Deputy of Trinity to the Diocesan Convention.
Please prayerfully consider being part of the inner life of Trinity and of our Diocese as we move with God's grace into the challenge of these exciting times.
At the next Faith Friday, Trinity Church welcomes Allison Duvall for a discussion about the work of Episcopal Migration Ministries (EMM) and the Episcopal Church's response to our national immigration policy. The evening begins with a special dinner provided by the Chef Lo fellowship. Following the program there will be an opportunity to meet Allison at a casual reception.
Allison Duvall serves as the Manager for Church Relations and Engagement for EMM, the refugee resettlement service of the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society. She is responsible for supporting the community engagement programs of 30 local resettlement partners, as well as equipping Episcopalians across the country to engage in this ministry of welcome.
Allison currently lives in Lexington, KY with her husband, Clay, and is a longtime member of Christ Church Cathedral.
The next Outreach meeting will be held this Tuesday, 10/23, at 7pm at Trinity in the classroom at the top of the stairs. All are invited and welcome to attend.
