The Electric Revival 2020
Diocesan Youth Dance and Lock-in
January 18-19 2020
Trinity Episcopal Church, Covington Kentucky
What’s the Deal?
January is the worst. Christmas is over, A New Year in the Spirit is a memory and summer camp at the Cathedral Domain is still months away. It’s dark by noon and absolutely frigid. What we need is a little taste of that “Domain Love” to get us through the long winter. What we need is a revival.
Fear not, for behold… On January 18-19, Trinity Episcopal Church warmly invites all junior and senior high students (grade 7-12) to downtown Covington for the annual dance party and lock-in we like to call “The Electric Revival.” Shake off those mid-winter blues with twenty-four hours of music, worship, fellowship, and plenty of that late-night POWER MUSIC ELECTIRC REVIVAL!
The revelries will commence at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 18th and will end at 12:00pm on Sunday. As always, we are providing free transportation to and from Lexington. The bus will leave Mission House (203 E 4th) at 12pm on Saturday and will return by 1:30pm on Sunday.
We are once again collecting canned goods for the Food Pantry operated by St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Newport. This year, we are allowing the group to vote on the films shown during our annual Cult Classic Film Festival. Participants will receive one vote for every donation they make to St. Paul’s Food Pantry.
Don’t forget to pack comfortable clothes (yoga), a sleeping bag and pillow, musical instruments, playing cards and board games, boogie shoes, canned goods, and $20 to help cover our costs.
