Family Promise

Families Need Your Help to Stay Safe This Week

Join us March 25 - April 1 for our Coronavirus Emergency Relief campaign. We are calling on all of our supporters to give what they are able at www.fpgives.org/organizations/family-promise-of-northern-kentucky

All across the United States, families are having to make changes in order to keep themselves safe. For families experiencing or at-risk of homelessness, the risks are even greater. Family Promise and our Affiliates are working across the country to make sure that we can help as many families as possible find a safe place to stay during this stressful time.

At our Affiliate we are maintain our current families in the network but reaching out to Extend our Promise to our graduate families and trying to help as much as we can.  We anticipate in the coming weeks, families will be reaching out more and more and we want to be ready.

Changes like this are happening all across the country, but in order to keep doing this, we need your help!

While volunteer opportunities are limited, we need our community now more than ever. Here are four ways you can help:

A. Give Financially: This transition will increase costs for Family Promise of Northern Kentucky, so your financial support during this time will be significant. Please feel free to donate online at: https://www.nkyfamilypromise.org/donate.html

B. Supply Donations: We are in need of specific supplies for cleaning, sanitation, and infant care during this time. Please follow us on Facebook to keep track of updated needs requests: https://www.facebook.com/FPNKY/ We will arrange for other donations carefully as we are limiting contact at the Day Center.

C. Current Needs:

  • Water (sterile and distilled) we have a baby that was released from the hospital last Friday

  • Baby items (specifically bottles – all types, especially newborn ones, etc)

  • Diapers – Size 1

  • Pull Ups – Size 3T=4T

  • Lysol Spray

D. Be Kind and Pray: We ask that you be kind to one another and pray for our neighbors and community during this time.
