Clergy, Staff, and Vestry
Clergy
Dear People of Trinity,
I am grateful for the opportunity to introduce myself to the Trinity community. As Josh mentioned last Sunday, my wife Maggie and our three kids are excited to join me on our first Sunday, June 7th. Maggie and I both grew up in Northern Kentucky and our kids were born here. After our time in California for seminary, we were glad to come home and fall in love with this region all over again. We live in Taylor Mill with our dog and two cats. We love visiting National Parks, playing board games, and going to FCC matches.
I am beyond thrilled to begin this next chapter in Trinity's story with you all. In my time with the hiring committee and the Vestry, it became clear to me that this is a strong, intentional community, moving forward in its mission to be God's love in the world. It is my hope that together we can ensure Trinity continues to be a beacon of faith in this region. I want to thank the Rev. Jason Leo for his leadership, the Vestry for their steadfast commitment to Trinity's mission, and the hiring committee for the care and thoughtfulness they brought to this process. One final note: my last name is pronounced like 'cough' with a 'g.'
With Gratitude and Excitement,
The Rev. Brad Gough
Staff
Dr. Deaver has served as Director of Music and Organist since 1980. John is privileged to work with our talented musicians in the choir and brass ensemble. He is also Adjunct Assistant Professor of Organ at the College-Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati. You’ll find him traveling, attending concerts, reading, learning new music and playing for pleasure.
Shannon grew up in Alabama and received a B.S. in Biochemistry from Southern Miss. Her husband, Greg, and 2 amazing children, have been at Trinity since 2005. As a youth minister, she loves working with teenagers and wants them to truly believe that they are loved and made in the image of God. You can also find her working as a Kenton County substitute teacher.
Andrew has served our Parish since 2021. He received a B.A. in English from Berea College and has worked in administration for multiple industries. You’ll find him preparing the weekly service bulletin, giving office support, and assisting with finance. If he sends you an email, please respond.
Meg is a lifelong parishioner with her husband and 2 children. She started leading events and fundraisers with her sorority at High Point University. You can often find her in our courtyard or at the Cathedral Domain Camp. She enjoys traveling, new restaurants and family time. Come see her at a food-truck Tuesdays, wine tastings, tree lightings or any community event.
