Shrove Tuesday Talent Show

It will soon be time to take the opportunity to put all things aside for an evening and attend the annual Shrove Tuesday Talent Show.

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, February 16th at 7:00 p.m.
Everyone is invited to present their talent via a Zoom Talent Show, or simply sit back and enjoy the show!

This year’s talent show opens up the possibilities for a wider variety of talents. For the first time ever, live animal acts will be allowed. Also, we encourage readings, presenting of artwork or projects you have worked on, magic acts, as well as our traditional musical and talent performances. Anything is possible in a zoom environment. You can make your magic act look very convincing!

On top of that, you will have the opportunity to create your own pancake supper at home. Speaking with Chef Randy Railey, he suggested picking up a box of pancake mix at the local store and, if you desire, adding something a little "special" to the mix to make your own original pancakes this year.

Some fun suggestions include adding a couple of teaspoons of vanilla, switching out the milk for buttermilk, or substituting vodka instead of pancakes. The possibilities are endless. Make your pancakes special!

Our assumption is this will be the first and last “zoom" talent show, so it is an opportunity to be a part of something special. If you planning an act, please contact Shannon Gemeinhardt at familyministries@trinitycovington.org no later than 5pm on Tuesday, Feb. 16th to get your name on the list.

This traditional event is made possible by the extraordinary talent within the Parish. Take this opportunity to have some fun and either participate with an act or sit back and enjoy what is always a delightful evening.
