John Deaver Organ Recital: Oct. 1
Dr. John Deaver will play an organ recital at Christ Church Cathedral, Cincinnati, Sunday afternoon, October 1 at 4:30 p.m. before the cathedral’s Evensong at 5:00 p.m.
His program will be Te Deum by Jean Langlais (1907-1991), Canonic Variations by J. S. Bach (1685-1750), and Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber (1910- 1981).
The recital is on the cathedral’s new Richards & Fowkes 3-manual organ. (It is a different program from what he will play at Trinity on Wednesday, October 18 at 12:15 p.m.)
