Serve a Local Refugee Family

We have been assigned a Refugee Family!

As many of you may know, back in May, Trinity assembled a Welcome Team in conjunction with Kentucky Refugee Ministries to assist in the settlement process for a family coming to our area. In mid-June, our Welcome Team was assigned a family from Guatemala. The family consists of a mother and her six children, ages 2-12 and are scheduled to arrive in Covington sometime mid to late July.

In preparation for the families arrival, one area we are asking for assistance from the congregation is obtaining bedding for the them. KRM is currently securing housing, but are looking for a place with 3 bedrooms. We are in need of 1-2 bunk beds, 2 single beds for the older girls, and a double bed for the mother who may sleep with the 2 yr old.

If you have any of these bed sizes in very good condition and would like to donate them to this family, or you are interested in purchasing a bed of this size, please contact Robb Dorward at dblebrobb@gmail.com to coordinate and confirm the need prior to purchase.
