Trinity Refugee Family Assistance Needed

We have been assigned a Refugee Family!

As you know by now, the Trinity Refugee Welcome Team has been assigned a family of 7 from Honduras (yes, previously incorrectly identified as from Guatemala). There have been some paperwork issues delaying their arrival until sometime in August.

Our initial request to the congregation for bedding were answered in a big way. Thank you to all who have personally donated or found bedding through others!

Now that we have beds for the family to sleep on, we are asking for your assistance in helping to offset the cost of mattresses, pillows and sheet sets to fit. You may do this by writing a check payable to Trinity and indicating on the memo line the amount is for “Outreach – Refugee bedding needs”.

This will allow us to purchase the proper size mattresses, etc. to fit the bedding that has been donated.

We will continue to collect through the month of August.
