Refugee Family Has Arrived

We are happy to report that our entire refugee family has now arrived in Newport and all are safe and well. The mother and four children arrived on Monday evening and the father arrived Wednesday evening.

Several of our Welcome Team volunteers will be meeting the family on Friday, September 29th. In the coming days we will begin to get them acquainted with the bus system and routes, take them shopping for clothing, and teach them how to get to KRM’s office and to the library.

Thank you to all who prayed for the family’s safe arrival. We will continue to update you as we have more information to share.
