Interim Rector Report: Oct. 17

Dear Trinity Church,

The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) traces its roots to the Women’s Auxiliary of the Episcopal Church, founded in 1890. In what was then a largely patriarchal denomination, it provided women with a significant opportunity to exert influence at the national level. The ECW engaged the whole church in advancing priorities such as education, poverty alleviation, health care, and the nurturing of children. While regional and diocesan ECW groups may have different approaches, they are all united in promoting the Christian faith and expanding the kingdom that Jesus proclaimed.

Trinity's ECW is a wonderful group with a long history of supporting ministries both within our congregation and in the wider community. This Thursday through Sunday, the Trinity Church ECW invites everyone to the front parking lot for BLINK 2024. There will be food, refreshments, activities, and plenty of fellowship (see below for more details). Even more exciting, the ECW has generously designated the proceeds from the event to support the EYC Mission Trip to Peru.
