Interim Rector Report: Dec. 6
Dear Trinity Church,
The pace of life at Trinity quickens in the coming weeks, and I am already feeling the demands on my schedule. I imagine you may be experiencing similar pressures. Yet, Advent offers us a sacred opportunity to pause, contemplate, and prepare our hearts for the great miracle of Christmas.
I encourage you to take time for prayer and reading scripture during this season. As an Advent discipline, I recommend reading the Gospel of Luke. It’s not very long, and a full reading throughout Advent will, I promise, deepen your Christmas celebration and make it all the more meaningful.
