Chief Nader has been a member of the department since 1997. He was appointed as the Chief of Police in September 2017. His responsibilities are to plan, direct, manage, and oversee the activities of the police department.
Chief Nader attended St. Augustine Elementary School and graduated from Holy Cross High School. He obtained his Associate Degree in Law Enforcement from Northern Kentucky University, a Bachelor of Elected Studies from Thomas More College, and a Master’s degree in Executive Leadership and Organizational Change (ELOC) from Northern Kentucky University.
Chief Nader is a graduate of the 120th session of the Southern Police Institute’s Administrative Officers Course (SPI-AOC) and a graduate of the 262nd Session of the FBI National Academy. Chief Nader is also a Certified Law Enforcement Supervisor, Manager, and Executive through the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council. He has been previously assigned a Bike Patrol Officer, Community Relations Officer, Detective, Patrol Shift Supervisor, Narcotics/Vice Unit Supervisor, FBI Safe Streets Task Force Member, SWAT Negotiator, Detective/Crime Lab Supervisor, Patrol Shift Commander, Administration Bureau Commander, Accreditation Manager, Patrol Bureau Commander, SWAT Commander, and Assistant Chief of Police.
