Vestry forms Transition Committee

At its Nov. 13th regular meeting the vestry unanimously passed a motion to form a Transition Committee that will serve from now until the Nominating / Search committee is formed sometime in the second half of 2024.  The Transition Committee will consist of 3 to 5 members including one vestry liaison. The members of the committee will be elected by the vestry in their December 11th meeting, so if you have interest in serving, please contact a vestry member before that meeting.  

The Committee is tasked with developing and executing plans related to the transition period, which spans from now until Peter's retirement at the end of June.  The committee is charged with ensuring clear communications during the transition, hosting appreciation events and appreciation for Peter's service to Trinity, developing a plan for worship service personnel and scheduling after Peter's retirement during the interim period, developing a plan to cover the critical tasks that Peter performs and preparing the basic schedule and communications about the listening process that will begin after June 30th.
