• Could the agenda be published publicly in advance of vestry meeting so parishioners would have advanced notice of topics of discussion.

• More communication to make parishioners know vestry meetings are open and that if they have a concern to bring to the vestry there is a “hearing from the parish” agenda item every month.

• Goal is to make adjustments to the commission practices and bylaw descriptions to match actual functionality

• Vestry will have continued discussion leading to a bylaw change

• Liaisons will be assigned and can be adjusted at a later date if any changes to commission structure are made

• Liaison should schedule the first meeting of the year and elect a commission chair at this meeting

Book of Remembrance Election Procedures (Rebecca Gensler)

• Motions by Brandon Gabbard: “Move to adopt proposed changes to Book of Remembrance election procedures”

• Discussion:

§  Amendment to the motion by Betty Mitchell: “Move to add “for the remainder of the vacated term” after the word “filled” in the first sentence of the Vacancies section.

§  Amendment to the motion by Rebecca Gensler: Eligibility for Re-Election section to read: “No Trustee who has completed two consecutive three year terms is eligible for immediate re-election. Trustees filling an unexpired term of greater than one year are eligible for re-election to a three year term and are considered to have served two full terms. Trustees who were elected to fill a portion of an unexpired term of not more than one year are eligible for re-election to two consecutive three year terms and are considered to have served two full terms.  Trustees who have served two consecutive terms are eligible for re-election 1 year after having completed their term.”
