The Adventures of “Flat Jesus”

This don’t summer, Trinity’s kids were given “Flat Jesus” coloring sheets and asked to take Jesus where ever they go this summer—whether it’s getting ice cream, going on a hike, on vacation, or making s’mores in your backyard. “Flat Jesus” is a fun way to remember that Jesus is always with us. It’s hard to know that sometimes, especially when we haven’t been in the church building and we see the symbols that remind us of Jesus. But Jesus doesn’t live in the church building! He lives in you!! So as a reminder that we always have Jesus with us, you can take your “Flat Jesus” where ever you go and then do what Jesus told us to do: love God and love our neighbors.

Look for sightings of Jesus throughout the summer on our Facebook page and website. Let’s see how many adventures “Flat Jesus” goes on!

Don’t have young children at home but want to participate in “Adventures with Flat Jesus” too? Just email Shannon to receive a PDF that you can print out and color at home.
