EYC LOCK-OUT

For last several years, Trinity’s Episcopal Youth Community has hosted a diocesan Lock-In over MLK weekend where the teens enjoy socializing, dancing, playing games, and exploring social justice issues with youth from all over our diocese—all fueled by endless amounts of Ale-8. Due to COVID restrictions, we were not able to host a lock-in this year. So we decided to have a Trinity Lock-OUT instead! We gathered in Trinity’s courtyard for some much needed social time, Four Square, and card games followed by a delicious dinner of chili and cinnamon rolls prepared by Janet Robinson and Diane Mohney. Then we headed to the Cincinnati Zoo for their amazing Festival of Lights. The weather was quite delightful and the we practically had the zoo to ourselves!

In keeping with our tradition of community service, the youth donated winter clothing and socks for our neighbors at the Emergency Cold Shelter of NKY.
