Outreach Adopts Families
Every Christmas, Trinity’s Outreach Commission adopts at least one family from Welcome House. Last week the Trinity elves were busy purchasing and wrapping presents for our two Welcome House Adopt-A-Families. In this year of Covid, lists provided were specific and we were asked not to deviate from it or purchase additional items. Each family received a basket of cleaning supplies in which we included disinfectant wipes, hand soap and multi surface cleaner to help combat Covid. Each child received one daily outfit, including pants and a shirt and three toy selections. In addition to the cleaning supplies, the mothers were also given an article of clothing of their choice. A $200 Kroger Gift Card was also provided to each family. The elves delivered the presents to Welcome House by appointment last Friday afternoon.
