Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) Fall Schedule

Each year I select a theme that helps serve as our North Star as we explore our faith. The last two years we have structured our discussions around “Love God” and “Love your Neighbor”.  These have yielded some really great discussions and provided opportunities to live out our faith in the real world. 

This year our theme is “Love Yourself”. The scriptures tell us that when Jesus was asked what was the greatest commandment, he answered, “The first commandment is to love the Lord with all your heart, mind, and strength; and the second greatest is to the love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:29-31).

This year we will dig deep into what it means to love your whole self—mind, spirit, and body. We will explore themes such as self-esteem, self-care, healthy relationships/friendships, meditation and mindfulness, prayer, healthy habits, and others. And, of course we will have fun, too! 

EYC is open to ALL youth in 7th through 12th grades and we always welcome friends to join us, too! We meet most Sunday evenings from 6-8pm at Trinity, beginning in the May Room for supper. A full calendar can be found at trinitycovington.org or by emailing Shannon at eyc@trinitycovington.org
