Evensong: Nov. 6

The Trinity Choir will sing Evensong at 5:00 p.m. on All Saints’ Sunday, November 6 as we celebrate the lives of those who have gone before us. The Evening Service and anthem were composed by Englishman Samuel Coleridge-Taylor (1875-1912), who was born of an English mother and African father. He was famous in his lifetime on both sides of the Atlantic for his cantata Hiawatha using the text of Longfellow’s poem. For more information about this meditative service lasting about 50 minutes, please contact our Director of Music, Dr. John Deaver. A reception in the parish hall follows. All are welcome to attend.
