EYC Bottle Cap Bench Project

Plastic is taking over the world. Everything these days is made of plastic, plastic water bottles, plastic bags, plastic silverware, and much more. All of these plastics get put into landfills and hurt the environment. So, the Episcopal Youth Community is doing our part and collecting plastic bottle caps to turn into a bench instead of plastic going into landfills. The bench will be placed at the Cathedral Domain, a special place in all our hearts.

The following caps are acceptable:

Medicine bottle caps, milk jug caps, detergents caps, hair spray caps, bottle caps, easter eggs, butter lids, creamer lids, coffee lids, and 5 gallon bucket lids.

In order to make the bench we need 250 pounds of caps and would love your support to make this possible. You can bring your caps to Trinity and put them in a bin labeled Caps for EYC.

Thank you so much!
