Midday Musical Menu - Mar. 15
The Midday Musical Menu luncheon concert is this Wednesday at 12:15 p.m., featuring Mezzo-Soprano Elise Hyder and Pianist Audrey Causilla. They have titled their concert Blessings of the Heart, celebrating life’s joys and sorrows through poetry and song. Selections range from spirituals, art song, musical theater and opera, and include composers Brahms, Amy Beach, John Duke, Margaret Bonds, Saint-Saens, Richard Rodgers, and Cincinnati composer Greg Reedy. Poetry featured in song include poems by Emily Dickinson, e.e. cummings, Robert Browning, and others. Lunch is available in the May Room from 11:30 a.m. for $7.00. The concert is free of charge. The performance will also be livestreamed.
