MLK Day of Service: Jan. 20

“The greatest birthday gift my husband could receive is if people of all racial and ethnic backgrounds celebrated the holiday by performing individual acts of kindness through service to others.” -Coretta Scott King

On Monday, Jan. 20, our entire parish (adults and youth group) are invited to participate in the national MLK Day of Service by loving our neighbors.

Volunteer opportunities for our youth and families are being organized for 9am-12pm on Monday, Jan. 20.  Check back for more information!

This is open to all of our EYC and their family/friends.

If you are not able to join us but would like to serve in another way, I encourage you to volunteer sometime that day.

However your family chooses to celebrate MLK Day, I hope you will consider including an act of service.

Blessings,

Shannon Gemeinhardt, Director of Youth Ministry
