July 26: Summer Choir

The Summer Choir sings this Sunday. Rehearsal is at 9:30 a.m. for 15 minutes. All are welcome! We sit in the congregation for the service and gather by the organ during the Peace to sing during the Offertory. Our hymn anthem will be Hymn 395 “Creating God, your fingers trace” by the Rt. Rev. Jeffery Rowthorn, who was Bishop Suffragan of Connecticut and later Bishop of the American Convocation of Churches in Europe. The music was composed by David Hurd, longtime professor at General Theological Seminary in New York City before becoming Director of Music and Organist at Church of St. Mary the Virgin, New York City.
