Rector Report: Aug. 23

Dear Trinity,

Our Fall program year has already begun with Children's Sunday School and EYC in full swing.  Trinity at Domain fast approaches as does Red Door Sunday and information will be in the weekly news as well as Chimes.   And you will find many other opportunities to discover new and exciting ways to be involved in life at Trinity. Please know that you do not need permission to get involved in a particular ministry.  Leaders around the parish will welcome you and your gifts.  If you are struggling to find your place in community life, please let me know and I will help you.

One of the great gifts at Trinity is our Choir and our music director, Dr John Deaver.  They bring a joyful voice to worship and also offer various special programs during the year.  The sanctuary also gets a little more crowded, so communion becomes a bit more challenging. This coming Sunday we will try a somewhat different approach.  This will hopefully reduce any current confusion and also prepare for the choir's return.  I know that this has been a source of frustration for many of you.  I apologize for that and ask for your patience.

I look forward to seeing you all in the days and weeks to come. The excitement at Trinity is building and I know that God will continue to bless us all as we move forward in faith.

The Lord be with You,

Jason
