Interim Rector Report: Oct. 4
Dear Trinity Church,
This Sunday, the Trinity family will be joined by creatures great and small as we honor the life and ministry of St. Francis of Assisi. Legend has it that Francis loved animals of every kind and encouraged others to do the same. However, it is important to remember that Francis embraced a deeper meaning that went beyond simply loving our pets. He understood that all of creation is interconnected, and how we treat animals reflects how we treat one another. One of his well-known sayings is: "If you have men who would exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men."
Please join us on Sunday at 8AM, 10AM & 5:30PM! We welcome pets and animals of every kind to join us for ALL 3 energetic worship services filled with prayer, music, howls, and lots of other joyful noise. We will celebrate the life and legacy of St. Francis, the gift of creation, and offer abundant thanks and praise to God. I promise it wonβt be dull. π
The Lord be with you,
Jason
