Interim Rector Report: Apr. 6
Dear Trinity Church,
Before the sacred chaos of Holy Week commences, I want to draw your attention to three ways to rest and serve in the weeks following Easter.
1. Domain Sunday & TED Talk – April 13
April 13 is Domain Sunday at Trinity, and the TED Talk after worship will be a presentation about Cathedral Domain’s 2025 Season. Trinity has a long history and many strong and cherished connections to the Domain. I have only been there a few times but can attest to its beauty and wonder.2. St. George’s Day Celebration – April 26
April 26 is the annual St. George’s Day Celebration at Cathedral Domain, and all are invited to enjoy a day filled with fun activities, fellowship, and worship. If you have never been to the Domain, this is a wonderful opportunity to get to know this sacred and special place. Click here for more information and registration. I will be attending and hope to see you there.3. Flying Pig Volunteers Needed – May 4
On May 4, Trinity is once again volunteering at the Flying Pig Marathon! We need 30 volunteers (registered by April 25) to help staff a hydration station in Covington—handing out water and cheering on thousands of runners. ECW will also be providing snacks. This is a great way to serve our local community and enjoy a morning of fun and fellowship. Volunteers need to register in advance—click here to sign up and be part of this exciting event.I hope you’ll consider participating in one (or all!) of these opportunities to experience joy, community, and service.
The Lord be with you,
Fr. Jason Leo
