TED on June 26: Dr. Joan Ferrante

The Trinity Enlightening Discussion at 11:20 a.m. on Sunday, June 26 will feature Dr. Joan Ferrante, Professor of Sociology at Northern Kentucky University, speaking about Margaret Garner’s story as an enslaved person in Northern Kentucky and the Gaines family who owned her. An optional field trip to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center will follow (self-guided tour). Tickets to the museum are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, $10.50 for children 12 and under.
