Trinity Enlightening Discussion - Oct. 23: James Sherry, CEO of Holly Hill Child & Family Solutions

Mr. Sherry will be discussing how Holly Hill has changed since he arrived there earlier this year, and what steps they are taking to further their programming mission. This is a discussion you do not want to miss!

Mr. Sherry joined Holly Hill earlier this year, coming to the Greater Cincinnati area from New York City. While there, he led agencies that empower people with autism and developmental disabilities to live richer, independent and fulfilling lives.

He is passionate about making a positive impact, and for-purpose work has been a consistent thread across his career. That career has spanned the healthcare, nonprofit, and government sectors. He has had significant exposure to the disability, corporate, seniors care, and early childhood education subsectors. He has also operated in the private sector and as a board member of numerous non-profit agencies, including as Chairman of a government-nonprofit joint venture start-up.

Before coming to the United States, Mr. Sherry was Chief Risk Officer with a State-level health provider/payer in Australia with a turnover of $15+ billion and 90,000 staff. While there, he also managed the corporate and operational functions for a network of hospitals that serviced remote Indigenous communities and led public-private-partnership business case development for community hospital redevelopment.

Mr. Sherry received his MBA from RMIT University, graduated with Honors and a Bachelor of Science from Melbourne University, and is a graduate of Harvard Kennedy School’s Senior Executives in State and Local Government program.
