Champions Weekly Meditation

We are members together in a sacred and holy community. 

We’re the ones who carry Christ forward in our city

because we believe we can, because God grants us the strength

to persevere.  We tip the chalice, carry the cross, sow plants

that reach toward heaven, stock our yard refrigerator,

stand with children in our courts, hold out our hands to greet

the stranger, feed the hungry, discover where there is need. 

Because we can.
