Final Concert of 40th Season of Midday Musical Menu

Pianist Jiao Sun is our performer on Wednesday (May 19) at 12:15 p.m. Jiao will perform a Haydn sonata, the first movement of a Brahms sonata, and selections from Prokofiev’s Visions Fugitives. The recital will be live streamed and then available afterwards for viewing on Trinity’s website and YouTube channel.

Jiao Sun was born in Harbin, China and grew up in Beijing, where she was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music at age nine as a national first prize winner. She debuted with orchestra at age eleven. Jiao has earned an Artist's Diploma with Soyeon Kate Lee at CCM (College-Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati) where she is currently completing a Doctoral of Musical Arts degree in piano performance. She has received a Master of Music degree in piano performance and literature with Douglas Humpherys and a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance with Rebecca Penneys at the Eastman School of Music.
