Midday Musical Menu

The final Midday Musical Menu luncheon concert of this season is on Wednesday, May 18 at 12:15 p.m. and features flutist Angela Massey and pianist Chee-Hang See. The concert begins at 12:15 p.m. Lunch, prepared by Trinity parishioners, is available from 11:30 a.m. for $7.00. The concert is free.

This concert, titled “Appassionata” will include expressive works with a selection by the Ukrainian-born composer, Prokofiev; a French fantasy by Georges Hüe; and an impressive work for piccolo by Matt Smith that has become an audience favorite.

Angela Massey has been a featured soloist with the Tryon Concert Association, Kosciuszko Foundation in New York City, and abroad in England, France, Italy, Romania, and Switzerland. She received degrees in flute performance from Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Chee-Hang See is the pianist with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and has been invited to perform internationally as a piano soloist with orchestras in Uruguay, Italy, and Singapore. He holds degrees and diplomas from the Cleveland Institute of Music, the College of Charleston, the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, and Trinity College, London.
