Midday Musical Menu Livestream: Nov. 16
The next Midday Musical Menu concert is on Wednesday, November 16 at 12:15 p.m. We are happy to welcome back the Southbank Quartet (quartet in-residence at Immanuel School of Music in Lakeside Park). Their program consists of two movements of Joseph Haydn’s Quartet in A Major and two movements from Max Bruch’s Quartet in C minor.
Haydn (1732-1809) wrote string quartets throughout his career, while Bruch (1838-1920) wrote only two while in his early twenties. The concert will end with a traditional Danish piece arranged by the Danish String Quartet. The group is made up of violinists Evan Hurley and Carrie Wiseman, violist Hannah Sargent, and cellist Ellen Stephens.
Lunch is available at 11:30 a.m. for $7 in the May Room. Lunch is prepared by Trinity parishioners. Luncheon concerts are always the third Wednesday of the month from September through May. If you cannot attend in person, we will also be livestreaming the concert across our platforms, and on this webpage.
