Interim Rector Report: Oct. 25

Dear Trinity Church,

One of the blessings of Christian community is that we receive what we need and offer what we have to enrich our life together. I hope that every person at Trinity knows how important your gifts are and how much they matter. Each of us has something to offer that will bless others, and when we share these gifts in love and support, the blessings within our community grow exponentially. These gifts include time, talent, and treasure.

Pledge forms have been mailed to every household in the Trinity family. I hope we will all prayerfully consider our offerings for the coming year. Since my earliest days here, I have found Trinity to be a generous community. I am confident we will move forward in faith together, sharing our gifts abundantly so that this time of transition will continue to be a witness to God's grace.

I look forward to seeing you all on Sunday for our annual blessing of the children in their Halloween costumes in honor of All Hallows' Eve and our celebration of All Saints Sunday on November 3rd. The children are so excited, and I know their joy will be a gift to us all. So come and be part of the joy!

The Lord be with you,

Jason

PS Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour on Saturday night! Daylight Saving Time ends, so enjoy the extra hour and we’ll see you Sunday morning.
