Interim Rector Report: Dec. 20

Dear Trinity Church,

Christmas is coming, and we’re entering a joyful and sacred time at Trinity! You’ll find in this week’s communication the schedule for all of our Christmas eve services (5pm & 10pm). I hope you’ll be able to join us during this holy season as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus. I also encourage you to invite a friend to church on Christmas Eve—perhaps someone who might otherwise be alone that evening. Your invitation could be a blessing and a source of comfort for them. Christmas Eve at Trinity is a beautiful and joyful celebration, and our community shines especially bright during this time of year.

Please note a few changes to the worship schedule beginning in the Christmas season. Sunday Evening Prayer will take a break after this Sunday and will resume on the First Sunday in Lent. Otherwise, the worship schedule remains unchanged:

  • Eucharist: Sundays at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.; Wednesdays at 12:00 noon

  • Rooted Prayer Service: Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m.

I hope to see you all this Sunday. After the 10:00 a.m. service, we’ll be decorating the sanctuary for Christmas, and everyone is invited to participate.

The Lord be with you,

Jason
