Interim Rector Report: Apr. 11
Dear Trinity Church,
Palm Sunday is just a few days away, marking the beginning of Holy Week and our sacred journey toward Easter. I commend to you the Holy Week schedule and encourage you to be present as much as possible. In my experience, a focused and intentional walk through Holy Week leads to a deeper, more meaningful Easter celebration. The full schedule is included in this email and available on our website.
To help you prepare and reflect more deeply each day, I also recommend exploring the excellent Holy Week resources and videos provided by the Episcopal Church. These tools offer helpful insight into the meaning and rhythm of the week.
This Sunday, we are also blessed to welcome two very special guests: Andy and Cindy Sigmon from the Cathedral Domain. Andy and Cindy have faithfully served the Diocese of Lexington for more than 30 years, and their impact has been immeasurable. We will take time during worship to honor their ministry and express our gratitude for their love and dedication.
Following the service, our TED Talk will celebrate Trinity’s connection to the Cathedral Domain—a place that holds deep meaning for so many in our community. It promises to be a joyful and inspiring time together.
I look forward to seeing you this Sunday as we begin this holy season together.
The Lord be with you,
Fr. Jason Leo
